Not certain how to rate the establishment on first visit as my family member isn’t here but it seems very legitimate and homey. They have areas for community gathering, like a dining table and a few outdoor areas. You must sign in and out for every person and they have all their credentials on the hallway entry wall. They prepare home cooked meals and seem to have a good system working with hospice and in home care nurses depending on the resident. You would never know this is a group home. It does not advertise on the outside of the house at all. It is run by two brothers who took over after their mom passed away. The lady I went to see said she liked it better than the other places she had been; she likes having her own room and that it doesn’t have a hospital feel to it. I wasn’t poking around everywhere to see how things were stored for medical stuff but her family seemed pleased with the residence’s policies. That’s why I can’t 5/5..it’s not first hand knowledge exactly.
Alex and Goran are hands down the most caring amazing wonderful people in the area of group homes in Las Vegas and I’ve done my homework quite a bit. My mom suffers with chronic pain and had a stroke and they tend to her pain and manage it very well, she is treated with respect and love like she’s family and they give her a feeling like she’s in her own home. I feel comfortable with her being in their care. I simply can’t recommend these people enough they really do car for their guests and make sure they thrive in a comfortable home like setting.
I was unable to have my mother come to this facility as she is under the age requirement, but I would like to say that Alex was such an amazing help! Regardless of my mother being able to go to Laurelwood, he was willing to listen to the situation and try to get me in contact with someone who could help find a facility for my mother. Thank you so much Alex, your kindness during hard times is much appreciated.

“After visiting several group homes, we knew immediately that Spring Valley Senior Living was the right fit for our father. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, and the interiors are well-maintained and comfortable. The caregivers are knowledgeable, attentive, and most importantly, they respect and understand the needs of each resident. We’re very grateful for the peace of mind their services have given our family.”
“My mother has been a resident at Laurelwood Group Home for the past two years. The personalized care and attention she receives is exceptional. The staff is highly professional, compassionate, and they truly treat my mother like family. I am at peace knowing she’s in such good hands. The warm and friendly environment of the home, coupled with excellent care and safety standards, makes it a wonderful place for seniors.”
